We are pleased to welcome internationally known kiln fired glass artist Alice Benvie Gebhart to Glass Endeavors!
Alice will teach her layered techniques utilizing sheet glass, frit, and stringers to create two beautiful wooded landscape diptych panels.  You will gain insight into color theory, composition and design while using technology to manipulate your image for translation into glass. Quench glass to create your own frit. Add gold and Reusche black kiln fired paint to add texture and detail. Build on your fusing skills in this 4-day intensive class.
Concepts and techniques covered in this workshop include:
Composition success with color, balance, and space
Creation of color scheme test tiles
Internet searching and understanding copyright
Using Photoshop to transform imagery into a successful composition
Adding texture and detail to glass
Highlighting mood in glass
Using kiln fired enamels

Bring:  Notepad, pen, dust mask, glass cutter, safety glasses, breaking pliers, soft bristle brush such as a liner #1 & #0 watercolor brush

There will be a $100 processing fee for all refunded tuitions for this guest instructor-led class taught at Glass Endeavors, including deposits. Tuition must be paid in full by balance due date or seat will be forfeited. Tuition will not be refunded for cancellations made after the balance due date unless a replacement is seated. Processing fee applies. If class is cancelled by Glass Endeavors, students will receive a full refund.
